Viraj is currently working as the Director of Mobile Access Strategy at Liberty Global. His current focus has been on working with different OpCos across multiple markets in defining the optimal RAN evolution strategy. Viraj has worked extensively over 19 years in the telco industry on strategy and innovation covering both 5G and FTTP as well as new opportunities such as Mobile Private Networks, Network Edge, WiFi, Small Cells and IoT. Prior to that he had worked in wireless research having read for a PhD at the University of Cambridge.
