Anthony Brand, Chief Marketing Officer, ETSI
Anthony (Ton) Brand is Chief Marketing Office at ETSI since July 2023. He joined ETSI in 2020 as Director of the Standards Development Centre, responsible for the development of all ETSI standards within the 46 different technical groups.
He has started his career as a free-lance consultant in telecommunications, and was in that period also a expert and rapporteur for several EC R&D projects. He continued his career as a programme manager for the GSMA, primarily focussing on IoT related projects. He was instrumental in setting up the IoT programme within the organisation. Following this 6 year tenure he joined the Wireless Broadband Alliance as Senior Director of Marketing and Industry Development.
Ton lives in Valbonne (France) with his wife.
