Mr. Serign Modou Bah stands as a seasoned professional in the realm of Telecommunications, ICT and Digital Economy, currently holding the esteemed position of Director of Telecoms and Postal Service at the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, where he rose to the ranks and has been contributing his expertise since 2012.
A distinguished alumnus of National Taipei University of Technology in Taipei, Taiwan, Mr. Bah earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science with a Major in Information Technology. His academic journey continued with a Second Level Specialization in Navigation and Related Applications, focusing on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), at Politecnico di Torino in Torino, Italy. To further deepen his knowledge, he pursued a Master of Engineering in Computer Applied Technology at Changchun University of Science and Technology in Changchun City, Mainland China.
The wealth of his professional experience encompasses various roles, with a significant stint as a Project Officer with the EU Delegation to The Gambia from December 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, he honed his skills during a three-month internship at the Gambia Civil Aviation Authority, where he was stationed at the Air Traffic Control Tower.
He has received various professional trainings with certificates in different Telecoms, ICT and Digital Economy related domains over the years, which equipped him with the needed knowledge, skills, technical-knowhow, experience, and expertise needed by any modern day seasoned professional.
